This is going to be mostly a post of pictures. First, a 2″ Rough Country lift has improved the ride and the ride height, significantly.
The winch bumper is installed, but it’s not fully done. A local 4wd shop is going to strengthen it for me. I’m not a fabricator. I just play with welders now and then.
This is pre-lift, post-trip to CA in July. It was one heck of a trip, and I also got seriously sick and could have died.
Before the suspension, I took a trip to Dayton from Buckland Station, NV, via Fort Churchill Road. Here are pictures.
Oh, and rusted out battery trays are no match for washboard Nevada roads:
Rust isn’t a beautiful thing. But living within 30 minutes of a Summit Racing warehouse/store is invaluable.
